Well, I think this person deserves a promotion!

The author(s) of this list, that is, it's the result of a brainstorm session by British civil servants in preparation of a visist of the pope to the UK :



Instead, the usual flurry of apologies and a demotion followed.
I think it's high time we all stopped being so careful and respectful of religion and religious entities such as this church. It's caused more misery in this world than people realise (just read the list to get an inkling!), and gets away with murder every time... all sins swept under a blanket of pious silence.

The catholic church and this pope deserves ridicule, and more.
And you know what? If this pope would do even one of the things on this list, it would have been an admirable thing and would have resulted in so much healing. It's a measure of the moral poverty of this religious institution, that all of these points are seen as an insult.

I wish the ministers had not apologised. It's not a list worthy of apology but of praise.
